In commemoration of the 20th Anniversary of the Velvet Revolution we are very proud to offer this VERY limited edition Victor frame. The Velvet Revolution took place between November 17 and December 29, 1989 and is known as the six-week relatively peaceful and bloodless period of demonstrations that saw the overthrow of the Soviet regime in the former Czechoslovakia. Students, but also intellectuals, actors and writers protested in massive crowds on the streets of Prague, forcing the resignation of the Communist Party. The main figure behind the Velvet Revolution was the leader of the dissident Charter 77 movement - the playwright dissident Vaclav Havel. After the fall of communism, on January 1st 1993, Czechoslovakia peacefully split into two independent countries, Czech Republic and Slovakia, and Havel was elected the first president of the Czech Republic. The Vic frame is our ultralight synthesis of aluminum alloy and carbon fiber material characteristics. Proprietary extruded aluminum down tube and top tubes are used up front, with carbon fiber seat tube, chainstays and seatstays, for a lighter weight and perfectly balanced professional road racing frame with outstanding acceleration, smoothness and high-speed handling. The rear stays are extremely light, yet incredibly stiff for powering over the most challenging hills. Compact frame geometry also deflects rear-end shock by transmitting it less directly towards the saddle, with the elongated seat post absorbing additional road vibration with its natural flex or material damping.


Included with this limited edition frame are 20th Anniversary headset caps (shown above) with a gold anodized bolt and black anodized Czech lion bar end plugs from Purely Custom, gold anodized seat tube clamp from KCNC, custom 20th Anniversary decals (shown above), and name decals from Victory Circle Graphics customized to each owner with your "Czech" name and a Czech Republic flag.
